The Villa
Heritage
For centuries, the Paštrovići region has shaped a way of life carved from stone, sustained by the sea and the olive tree.
Its villages, chapels and terraced groves speak of a community rooted in land and tradition long before Montenegro became a destination. Paštrovići Stone Retreat is built from that same language — local stone, quiet craftsmanship, and a respect for the landscape it stands upon. It could not exist anywhere else.
Architecture
Every stone was sourced from the surrounding hills and set by hand, following building methods practised in this region for generations. Exposed beams, wrought-iron detail and locally quarried stone bring warmth and texture throughout the villa, while large glazed openings dissolve the boundary between interior and landscape.
The result is a home that feels as though it has always belonged to this hillside — modern in comfort, timeless in character.
Interior
Inside, the villa combines the warmth of natural stone, wood and handcrafted joinery with modern comfort and understated luxury. The living room opens directly onto the terrace and pool beyond, so that indoors and outdoors are never entirely separate. A fully equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining room anchor the ground floor — built for a household that gathers, not one that scatters into separate rooms.
Air-conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi run throughout, present but never intrusive on the character of the house.
